Jews in Split - an exhibition

After supporting the exterior restoration of Split Synagogue, World Monuments Fund collaborated with local partners to develop an onsite and online exhibition to interpret the history of the synagogue. The exhibition, Jews in Split, is presented in English and Croatian at the Jewish Community Center in Split, located at the entrance to the synagogue. Along with the online version included here, the exhibition is an educational resource for residents, tourists, and armchair travelers, and will provide an opportunity to increase understanding of the long history and importance of the Jewish community in Split.
