Watch Day: Takiyyat Ibrahim al-Gulshani

Each year, dozens of Watch Days are organized at World Monuments Watch sites by their communities to highlight the importance of local stewardship in the sustainable preservation of heritage sites.

In June 2019, community members and stakeholders gathered at Takiyyat Ibrahim al-Gulshani in Cairo, Egypt, a 2018 World Monuments Watch site, to take part in a dynamic exchange on the future of the site.
